Diplomacy has established a wide repertoire of material over the last couple of years and can tailor their performance to suit the venue and occasion. This can range from a cool and sophisticated soul/jazz set for a restaurant to a rocking funk/rhythm-and-blues show for a Friday night pub crowd. Usually Diplomacy play two sets of between 45 minutes to one hour each.

Diplomacy perform a mixture of original songs and arrangements of classic material from a wide range of artists. These include standards such as Fever and Sunny, Memphis Soul Stew (King Curtis), Going Back Home (Dr. Feelgood), Moon Dance (Van Morrison), Proud Mary (Creedence Clearwater Revival) and Iko Iko (Dr. John). The band are all very experienced musicians and given a bit of notice could prepare a couple of special songs – for example a favourite of the bride or groom or a couple of songs for a guest vocalist to join in with.

The band is happy to take private bookings for parties, weddings etc. as well as public gigs.
